She Was Going To Go Through The Universe Hole On Mother's Day

Her parents died in this universe like 10 years ago. It was mothers day, and naturally, she wanted to see her mother. The year is 6,006. She was sitting somewhere on her planet pondering what she would be doing for the next few hours. She had an idea.

She went to room which she kept her extra novel items. She used one of her gadgets to tear a temporary hole in the fabric of space. It almost sort of looked like a psychedelic stretchy hole. She climbed through it. The computer was never really wrong, and in this case, the computer had informed her that the universe that she was going to was the the same in almost all respects. Except, in this other universe, her mother was still alive, and she had died earlier in the day when a stray meteor had hit her in the head.

So she used the phone she had to call her mother, and then go see her, and have tea with her. It was quite a delightful day. After a few hours had passed, she went back to her own universe and had the most wonderful night of sleep.

And The Humans Had This Bad Habit

The year is 600,000,000 AD.

As soon as they find new planets that already have life developing past the stage of the typical sea slug, they will automatically drill to the center of the planet and implant a multi-verse frequency modulator. They set it to  transport the whole planet into another universe in which everything is the same, except for the fact that the rest of the universe is empty and devoid of any life.

They could go back and bring the planet back to their universe at any time, but seldom have they ever done that.
